I have been doing poetry and it is so fun. We had to add in fancy and good words so it is interesting I think I have done bad because I have not within mach and uthers rit more then me. Softball this week

On Monday we were doing Softball it was really fun because we got to catch the balls and throw them up in the air. You should have been there.  And one of them I caught the ball. There was 32 people playing and it was so fun I think that you guys would like it. 

Farm Trip

 Hey bloggers, on the farm trip we did heaps of walking and we learnt  it would be fun. I learnt how to keep streams clean. I hope you will go there soon and enjoy it and my school is the first school to go to that fame and it was great. Here's a photo of the cows.

 Hi Bloggers I have been learning about Life Education

We went into a truck trailer and the lights were amazing and we learnt parts of our brains!  some were gros : ( I will show you some parts of are bran and some of are heart.  My favorite part was learning about  are bran. We learnt about are brain and heart it is very fun and interesting. I now know about the amygdala. You can train the amygdala with your wise owl.

My Speech About School!

 Hi bloggers I am doing a blog about my speech I have chosen to do it about School it has been quite fun to do a speech. The whole class did a speech  evin me it is 4 paragraphs long and I think that it is good. Here is a bit of my speech below.  

Hi I’m Connor and I'm going to convince you why Yaldhurst Model School is the best. Step 1: You can learn and have fun with your friends. Step 2: You can learn new things. Step 3: You can learn how to be a group. You will always want to play and come to Yaldhurst Model School. It is the best school in the world! 

You should definitely do math, reading and writing. They are the best things in the word! If you want to be the best at math then you came to the right place. Step 1: You have to do math all nite and day and maybe for your life but you mite be lucky you might already be good at math so you will be able to learn quicker you mite oley do it for one year is that crazy!!!  You should come to Yaldhurst Model School because you can learn so much! You can learn how to do subtraction, addition, multiplication  and division . It is so fun to do math, reading and writing. 

You will never ever get bored of learning at Yaldhurst Model School! 

I had to come up with a good title and I had to write persuasive words in the speech and I had to add in exciting things. You have to do one point in each paragraph.

To Find Fractions Of An Amount (*-*)

We have been to find fractions of an amount it was hard but it was fun and interesting, I will show you a pitcher but.  I learnt that you have to x it if it is bigger 1 you have to x. Let's do question number 1 together. Step 1 look at the denominator (5) and ask how many (5's) are in (10) it = (2). Step 2 now  look at the numerator and times it by 2. So 3 x 2 = 6. That's how you find fractions of an a mount.

Column method maths

We have been doing column method and it was in the 1000's it was kind of hard but it was fun. I will show you a photo but first I'll show you  how to do it so first you pot the first number at the top then you pot + at the side then the other number underneath then a line underneath then add it up. Like this

Map Legend!!

Hi Bloggers

We have been drawing a map and we've got to do pictures on the map. next we drew down the bottom in the box symbols and names to identify the school, forest river, house, airport, mountains on the map. It is really hard to remember the thinks you need to put on because you are too busy drawing. You can add little tiny details if you really want to as wall as a road, bridge, playground, backyard, grass etc ,etc. Have you ever done something like this?

Today we were learning about what we can share on the internet. If the information is private you should not share it. 

We had to cover pictures that showed pictures or shapes. Here is one of my favourite photos.

Cross Country

We have been doing cross-country, year 5's and 6's had to run 2km here is the map:

In cross-country I came second out of the boys., out of all I came fourth, and we had to jump over hay bales as an obstical course.

The holl clars went to the shop and we brought toys and lollies and a whole bunch of more sweets!

The shop was so so FUN. One of my friends felt sick  but he kept on eating! 

I have learnt to ad up  huge numbers together.

I have been Celebrating my Math in slides.

I have been working on it for awhile because I had to go through all of my Math slides and find the one I wont.   I will show you the slides blow.

Handwriting

 I have been doing handwriting. The hard part was linking the sentence ,the teacher would write a sentence not linked. The classroom would write it but we have to write the sentence linked. The sentence tock a very long time. I am most proud of me writing the sentence.
